The insidePerformance Active Sound System (ASS) for BMW with Active-Sound Technonogy (AST) creates the perfect exhaust sound for all 3series BMW Diesel models - independent if it is a 320d, 325d, 330d or 335xd or others..
It can be retrofitted to all this cars very easily and comes as complete kit - ready to install
The main problem of all BMW diesel cars: great driving pleasure, dynamic power and torque - but no sound at all.
Who does not miss that great 6-Cylinder or V8-sound of an stainless steel exhaust on his 3series BMW Diesel? Now there is a perfect solution for that! It is called: insidePerformance Active Sound Booster / Active Sound Technology (AST) for BMW. Using a Sound-Boosters / Soundgenerator we can create the perfect individual sound. For even more sound, it is also possible to mount a second Soundbooster / Actuator and extend the existing AST kit at any time.
Aligned to the BMW 3series diesel engines, our solution creates an acustic sound pattern similar to the BMW gasoline sports carslike the 335i or the BMW M4 or M3 or even the M5/M6 with V8-engines.
Not only the volume / sound level but also the sound pattern can be individually configured and adjusted (using the OEM buttons / controls at your BMW steering wheel or our Active-Sound App).
The exhaust sound is generated by an ECU / ECM and powered and emitted by the so called Actuator - made of stainless steel.

No compex modifications are necessary on the car itself!
Configuration and operation via steering-wheel buttons or App
The configuration and all settings can be done via the OEM steering wheel buttons or via iPhone/Smartphone and our free IOS iPhone or Android App!
The connection is automatically established via Bluetooth. There is no need for a WiFi-Module / Gateway and no laborious WLAN-connection is necessary. Just install the App and get started.
Furthermore the app offers a DEMO-mode which allows you to start the engine sound / car-sound even without having the engine running!
With the app, multiple profiles can be managed, sound can be individualized to your needs and you can choose the OEM car buttons which you want to use to change the profiles / settings.

great sound and easy installation
I fitted it to my F34 3 GT and went on a 7,000 mile trip shortly after - it all works fine and holds up very well in the car, after following installation instructions in the video to the dot. The sound is really good and can be conveniently customised. Cam't fault it so far - I hope it will work for long time.

Richtig aggressiver, kerniger Sound. Würde das Produkt jeder Zeit wieder kaufen.
Einziges kleines Manko: Die App wurde zuletzt 2017 aktualisiert und nicht weiterentwickelt... Hier wäre es schön, wenn noch Upgrades wie z.b. Fehlzündung kommen würden...
Ansonsten alles super :)
1000% perfekt
Mein Diesel hat jetzt einen unglaublichen Klang. Ganz einfach zu installieren und perfekte Funktionalität. Ich bin zu 1000% zufrieden.
Super Sound Alternative
Nach einem dezenten 2rohr Auspuff noch den Aktiv Sound dazu und mein Diesel hört sich nach ein paar Testfahrten super, kraftvoll abgestimmt an! 100% Zufrieden.

Bin total Zufrieden.
Was allerdings von Vorteil wäre wenn ihr ein Video macht wie man das Soundmodul im F30 Facelift verbaut dar die Steuergeräte dort an einer anderen stelle sitzen wie im Video beschrieben.

Hey,
konnte das System problemlos verbauen. Die Kabel anschließen ist auch für ungeübte kinderleicht.
Ein bisschen Geduld bei verkleben des Lautsprechers muss man haben. Wenn man wie ich Sikaflex 221 verwendet dauert das Ausarten schon recht lange bei der Schichtdicke :D .
Die App ist auch total leicht zu benutzen.
Als Tipp/Verbesserung oder Anregung von meiner Seite:
# App mit Passwort wäre gut ;)
# ggf. auch die Option das Soundfile zu wechseln (V8, 6-Zylinder, "Fehlzündungen",..)
Grundsätzlich bin zufrieden damit und es ersetzt das was ich vermisse seit dem ich keinen Benziner mehr habe.
