The insidePerformance Active Sound System (ASS) for BMW with Active-Sound Technonogy (AST) creates the perfect exhaust sound for all 5series BMW Diesel models - independent if it is a 520d, 530d, 535d or M50d or others..
It can be retrofitted to all this cars very easily and comes as complete kit - ready to install
The main problem of all BMW diesel cars: great driving pleasure, dynamic power and torque - but no sound at all.
Who does not miss that great 6-Cylinder or V8-sound of an stainless steel exhaust on his 5series BMW Diesel? Now there is a perfect solution for that! It is called: insidePerformance Active Sound Booster / Active Sound Technology (AST) for BMW. Using a Sound-Boosters / Soundgenerator we can create the perfect individual sound. For even more sound, it is also possible to mount a second Soundbooster / Actuator and extend the existing AST kit at any time.
Aligned to the BMW 5series diesel engines, our solution creates an acustic sound pattern similar to the BMW gasoline sports cars like the 550i or M5 / M6.
Not only the volume / sound level but also the sound pattern can be individually configured and adjusted (using the OEM buttons / controls at your BMW steering wheel or our Active-Sound App).
The exhaust sound is generated by an ECU / ECM and powered and emitted by the so called Actuator - made of stainless steel.

No compex modifications are necessary on the car itself!
Attention: if you have the combination of BMW F11 (Stationwagon) with AdBlue-Tank please talk to us first! F10 (Limousine) with AdBlue is no problem at all.
Configuration and operation via steering-wheel buttons or App
The configuration and all settings can be done via the OEM steering wheel buttons or via iPhone/Smartphone and our free IOS iPhone or Android App!
The connection is automatically established via Bluetooth. There is no need for a WiFi-Module / Gateway and no laborious WLAN-connection is necessary. Just install the App and get started.
Furthermore the app offers a DEMO-mode which allows you to start the engine sound / car-sound even without having the engine running!
With the app, multiple profiles can be managed, sound can be individualized to your needs and you can choose the OEM car buttons which you want to use to change the profiles / settings.
